  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist
  • Fellowship training not required
  • Full time opportunity (schedule is flexible, some evenings are required)
  • Must see ages 0-21
  • Willing to accept child and adolescent psychiatrist or adult psychiatrist that sees this age group
  • 3-5 years post training experience required
  • Diagnose and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
  • Engage with children/adolescents, families and/or adults personally to assist their adjustment to the therapeutic experience
  • Must have New York state medical license or in the process of obtaining
  • Must have up to date knowledge of psychotropic medications; and evidenced-based/best practices treatment modalities for children, adolescents and adults with mental health and chemical dependence issues
  • Must have knowledge and familiarity of OMH, OASAS, DOH, OCFS, 29i and other pertinent regulations
