A Diagnostic Radiologist opportunity for locum tenens coverage near Louisville, KY

Description:

• Diagnostic body imaging needed
• 1-2 weeks/month or FT
• About 50 body/abdominal cases/day
• Mix of CT/MRI/Ultrasound & Fluoro
• Average of 20 CTs, 20 USs & 2-3 MRIs
• + about 10-15 plain films/day
• EMR is McKesson & PowerScribe
• The body section covers a busy workload of inpatient & outpatient
• Cross-sectional imaging of the chest, abdomen & pelvis + some CTA exams of the extremities
• CT imaging heavily concentrated on oncology work-up/follow-up
• Significant caseloads of post-surgical/trauma patients
• MRI of abdomens includes liver, pancreas, and renal imaging
• MRI of the pelvis includes GI, GYN, & GU malignancies including prostate

 Requirements:

• Active & unrestricted Kentucky license & DEA
• BC/BE
• Fellowship-trained
