Seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an Employed Practice in Overland Park, Kansas - J-034550 (22611902)
Overland Park Regional Medical Center (OPRMC) is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible (if recently trained) Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join an existing practice of three physicians in a rapidly growing market. This group of physicians is known for providing exceptional care to expecting mothers and boasts a great reputation in the greater Kansas City metropolitan community. The group expects to grow to five physicians as quickly as possible to meet the growing patient demand. The practice is a critical element of Women’s Health Services at OPRMC, and the associated Maternal Fetal Health Center offers a multi-disciplinary setting for the most complex maternal and fetal care. The group receives consistent high-quality coverage for deliveries from the OBGYN group, Specialists in Women’s Care, and inpatient antepartum support from perinatal nurse practitioners.
Through their onsite and telemedicine components and referral relationships, the practice supports over 12,000 deliveries each year. Currently, an expanded clinic is being constructed on the campus of OPRMC and will be located adjacent to the Maternal Fetal Health Center with a secondary practice office at another local HCA hospital.
For those physicians seeking academic involvement, OPRMC has an OBGYN residency program where the MFM physicians will have teaching opportunities. There are also future plans for an accredited MFM fellowship to be based at OPRMC.
The group has an exemplary staff with highly trained, experienced professionals incorporating advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and sonographers. The practice is positioned to offer an attractive guaranteed compensation and comprehensive benefit package including malpractice coverage, health/dental/vision insurance, life and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, 401K contributions and continuing medical education reimbursement.
