Cardiac Critical Care Intensivist Needed in Ohio

Key Details:

• Schedule: Nights/weekends with 12-hour shifts.
• Shifts: Approximately 14-16 twelve-hour in-house shifts per month, which may include daytime (7a-7p) or nighttime (7p-7a).
• Emergency Privileges: Expedited emergency privileges are available and can be granted within 1-2 weeks once accepted.

Requirements:

• Fellowship Training: Board certified or board eligible in critical care medicine with fellowship training.
• Specialized Skills: Additional training and experience with ECMO, LVAD, and cardiac transplant are highly desired.
• Postoperative Expertise: Experience managing patients in the immediate postoperative period following heart transplant is preferred.
• Cardiothoracic Experience: Experience in perioperative care of cardiothoracic surgery patients is a plus.
• Unique Backgrounds: Individuals with unique training, job experience, or diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Licensure: Eligibility for Ohio medical license and DEA certificate is required.
