JOB SUMMARY

- Active PA License
- Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
- Minimum Years Experience: 2
SHIFT/SCHEDULE INFORMATION
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
JOB INFORMATION
- Typical Day: As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for covering admissions to the hospitalist service overnight, cross-covering ICU patients, and managing nursing floor calls.
- Typical Cases Seen: Med/Surg with cross-coverage of a 6-8 bed ICU.
- Average Inpatient Census per Day: 40
- Average Admissions per Day: 7-8
- Average Consults per Day: 3-4
- Average Admissions per Night: 3-5
- Average Consults per Night: 1-2
- Patient Mix: 100% Adult
- Other Specialties Onsite: Emergency Medicine; other services available via telemedicine include endocrinology and intensivist consultations.
- EMR: Paragon-McKesson
- Time to Credential: 3-4 months
