Job Description:
Our client in Maryland is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Gastroenterology Physician to join the team on a locum tenens basis. This high-priority position offers the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider in the Western Maryland area.
Job Summary:

- Shifts per Month: 7 on / 7 off Preferred | Will Consider Provider Who Can Do One Block of Mon - Fri
- Coverage Needs: Call with rounding, consults, and procedures
- Coverage dates:
- July 10, 6am - July 27, 6am
Candidate Requirements:
- Active Maryland License or provider with IMLC certification in hand
- Must have/be willing to obtain Maryland CDS (Controlled and Dangerous Substance)
- Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible
- Minimum Years Experience: 5
- No ERCP, No EUS Experience Necessary
Shift/Schedule Information:
- 24hr Call | 6a-6a | Rounding + Consults + Procedures
Pay Rates:
- Competitive market rate PLUS
- Mileage or Fuel (Personal Vehicle), Airfare, Lodging, Parking, Rental Car/Fuel, and Taxi
Job Information:
- Provider will not work solo
- Typical Day Inpatient: Provider will cover hospital inpatients, consults, and procedures from about 8a - 4:30p
- If finished early, provider can leave as long as available within a 30-minute response time
- Most Common Emergencies: Food impaction and GI bleed are the most common emergencies
- Procedure Volume: 10-12 procedures per day
- APP/Mid-Level Coverage Available from 8a - 4p
