Hospice of Northwest Ohio is seeking a full-time Palliative Care Medical Director to join a well-established and highly compassionate team in Toledo, Ohio. This role involves directing the medical care and treatment of palliative care patients and has primary medical responsibility in overseeing and supporting the care rendered by other members of the interdisciplinary palliative care team. It also involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care as needed, hospital rounding, in-home patient visits and some involvement in palliative medicine research.   • MD/DO with license to practice in Ohio and Michigan required
  • Must be board-certified/board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, with board-certification required for primary specialty
  • Current DEA required
  • 5 to 10 years of practicing medicine preferred
  • Must have either 3 to 5 years of Palliative Medicine experience, or be Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship trained
