Metro Tennessee Cardiology Opportunity(Invasive-Non Interventional) with Academic appointment
The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tn. has an outstanding opportunity to join a large, well established single specialty group of 19 Cardiologists in a hospital-owned employed practice. Call will be shared, admitting and rounding at a single Hospital. Position is based in the beautiful Heart Lung Vascular Institute , one of the medical centers six Centers of Excellence, on the University of Tennessee Medical Center campus. You will also be rotating through one of our satellite offices located just minutes outside the city. We are a 610 bed Level 1 Tertiary Care center and the only academic medical center in the region . This is a thriving hospital with state of the art equipment, and is one of just two hospitals in the state of Tennessee to be nationally ranked by the distinguished publication US News & World Report in its 23rd "America's Best Hospitals" report....The position will be for a general Invasive/ Non-Interventional Cardiologist. We employ a large Primary Care and subspecialty base, so referrals abound and you will be busy quickly. This is a strong and stable group of Physicians who have achieved the team atmosphere, and desire a physician who is looking to be part of a team. You will also receive an appointment at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, as we have an ACGME approved Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
