Schedule: Traditional clinic work week, M-F; no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time.
Call: Practice call shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Family Medicine (Currently 1:24).

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 450+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Practitioner (MD/DO) to join a robust clinic-based practice and work full-time at its Karcher Clinic. Saint Alphonsus Medical Group – Karcher is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family practice patients and is conveniently located in close proximity to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. The clinic is a newer, state-of-the-art 8000 square foot facility. Other services at this practice location include pediatrics and urgent care. Our clinic is at a wonderful location, which provides our patients with great access to quality healthcare to serve our community's needs.
Support: 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.

-Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
-Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program.
-Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment).
-Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
