Providence, RI: We invite an Occupational Medicine physician to practice in beautiful Rhode Island – just 45 minutes from Boston.
We welcome doctors trained in primary care or emergency medicine.
This is a newly announced position within a large, multi-site healthcare system. You will provide outpatient care to your fellow employees, reporting to the head of HR Operations & Health, and working with the managers of Employee Health and Health Promotion. We want a team player to manage the clinical medicine aspects of work-related injury management, episodic medical care, primary care health promotion, and occupational health.

This is a hands-on role where you will perform physicals, order and interpret test results, provide diagnoses, formulate care plans, and work with patients and their primary care providers to improve patient health and safety, making referrals as appropriate. You will oversee the clinical care provided by advance practice providers, nurses and others. Patient education will be one of your key priorities.
