Faculty Division Director – Geriatric Medicine
A highly regarded medical school that is dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking a Division Director in Geriatric Medicine. The level of appointment will be commensurate with experience.
The Division of Geriatric Medicine is one of the most prominent divisions in the country and has substantial clinical, teaching and research programs in place, including a fully-accredited fellowship program. Areas of special interest currently include: hormonal changes related to aging, pathogenesis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, education of patients, the public and health care providers about issues related to aging. A new palliative care fellowship has been recently instituted under the leadership of the Division of Geriatric Medicine.
The successful candidate should have appropriate board certification and a substantial background in clinical or laboratory research. A highly competitive compensation package including full benefits is being extended.
