A large healthcare facility in southern Illinois is seeking another Psychiatrist to join their staff:

•    Hospital employed position 
•    Flexible practice model – IP/OP mix, or hospitalist 7 on 7 off 
•    30 bed adult unit 
•    Full staff of social workers, psych nurses and medical staff
•    GREAT physician package and comprehensive benefits
•    Treat full gamut of mental health 

Harrisburg is a city in and the county seat of Saline County, Illinois. It is located about 57 miles southwest of Evansville, Indiana and 111 miles southeast of St. Louis, Missouri.

More than 270,000 acres of Shawnee National Forest lie to the south of Harrisburg, drawing visitors annually to the Saline County area and the gateway community. The Shawnee National Forest offers much to see and do.

Southeastern Illinois College (SIC) is a two-year junior college that sits on a 148-acre campus east of the city limits. It enrolls more than 2,000 students each semester in college transfer and career education programs. SIC was founded in 1960.

This position is specific for a Board Prepared or Board Certified Psychiatrist.  Requirements then are that the successful candidate would have a degree as an M.D. or D.O. with proven residency training in Psychiatry.
