Independent, outpatient only, largest provider of vasectomy reversal in the US is searching for a physician to train and perform vasectomy reversals. You will become a member of The Reversal Clinic clinical leadership team with the primary responsibility to provide physical and spiritual care for vasectomy reversal patients at your location consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of The Reversal Clinic.
The aforementioned care includes communicating with potential patients with clinical questions through email and phone, and conducting some scheduled pre-op consultations with patients to aid in patient selection. Face to face patient involvement on the day of surgery involves pre-op and post-op discussions as well as conducting the vasectomy reversal procedure. Physician will offer prayer in the clinic for each patient before surgery, if they desire. Their subsequent conversation will determine the patient's willingness to receive Christian witness and scriptures.
We are an independent, outpatient-only practice and the largest provider of vasectomy reversal in the US. Well-established practice of 12 years which has 2 locations, one in Oklahoma and one in Rhode Island. We are recruiting for the RI site. Patients travel from all 50 states and Canada to reach this practice. We have successfully preceptored a family practice physician and a general surgeon to perform the procedures, so physicians with a range of different backgrounds can be used in this practice ministry. Physicians who are proficient and enjoy simple skin suturing can be taught our minor procedure. We want to add physicians who desire to use the practice as an avenue for disciple making. You will help families grow after vasectomy by performing microsurgical vasovasostomy under local anesthetic in our clinic. Beginning physicians will perform 200 vasectomy reversals annually.
Physician state licensure in Rhode Island required. You will need previous suturing skills, and you enjoy using these skills. We have successfully trained FP trained and surgical specialty trained physicians in this minor procedure.
