Academic Setting - Missouri
This well respected University seeks a Neuro-Interventional Radiologist. Faculty rank and position will be commensurate with credentials and experience. Currently there are 19 full time faculty members and 6 part time. They have 20 residents. This full time teaching position involves morning conferences as well as scheduled conferences one to two times a month. Research is not required but available if desired. NIR - for Radiology working closely with NeuroIR faculty from Neurosurgery and Neurology. There is a very pleasant relationship with Neurosurgery. The Neurosurgeons see the value of having a Neuroradiologist as a member of the NeuroIR team. This is a stroke center. The position would be approximagely half NeuroIR and half diagnostic Neuroradiology. Call is q3. This is a stroke center. Single biplane room but are in planning process for doubling the NeuroIR rooms.
