MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, located in Olney, Maryland, is seeking a Hospital Medicine Program Director to take an active role in direct patient care while providing leadership and oversight to the Hospital Medicine group. In this role, you will also work closely with the Medical Director, Washington Region Hospital Medicine,VMPA, and MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, to develop goals and provide ongoing assessment to achieve objectives in keeping with hospital and MedStar regional strategic plan(s); provide regular feedback to providers regarding quality, utilization, throughput, and risk management of clinical performance; oversee quality processes including, but not limited to, hospital-acquired conditions, patient satisfaction, readmissions, and LOS; oversee risk management activities, including adjudication of patient and staff concerns; facilitate efficient and effective communication between Hospital Medicine providers, hospital staff and other providers; and play an active role in recruitment and onboarding of new providers.

Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a hospitalist.
American Board certification in Internal Medicine
Valid and unrestricted Maryland medical license.
