Calais, Maine: We seek a friendly Family Medicine physician to join an outpatient-only rural health clinic in eastern Maine, across the St. Croix River from New Brunswick, Canada.
This is a designated underserved area, so NHSC candidates and those with H1B or J1 visas are encouraged to apply.
Join several primary care physicians and providers in this hospital-affiliated practice. This is a full time position with a convenient weekday schedule. You will see patients of all ages four days/week, and have one administrative day. You will supervise advanced practice providers, visit patients in nursing homes, and share phone-only call.
The hiring hospital was brand new in 2006, and is very well equipped with a wide range of the latest tools and software, supported by an excellent, experienced staff.
