The Neuroscience Center of Excellence rates this as one of the top programs in the nation with Neurosurgeons that are nationally recognized as experts in the Neuroscience field. These Neurosurgeons utilize innovative ideas and cutting edge technology with programs such as Cyberknife Radiosurgery. They are well supported by an experienced staff that includes a Ped Neurosurgeon and work in new facilities including state-of-the-art Neurosurgical Operating Rooms, Siemens Biplanar Endovascular Neuro OR Suite, 12 bed Neurotrauma ICU, 6 bed step down unit, epilepsy unit, and 26 surgery suites. Collectively, the Surgeons perform nearly 1,700 surgeries per year including Spine, Vascular, Tumor, Pediatric, Functional and Epilepsy. In addition, they have the ability to do extensive research and/or teaching through a state university. With an 880+ bed Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, you would be joining and be supported by a premier regional health system. The 1 in 5 call schedule covers only the one facility. This position includes a Stroke Directorship and requires a physician with Endovascular interests.

The Neurosurgeons average earnings are above $1,000,000. The incoming Neurosurgeon will start with a hefty base salary, generous sign-on bonus, and attractive benefits with Loan Repayment and occurrence based malpractice insurance. A Resident/Fellow Stipend is also available.
